There are no written instructions but really excellent diagrams. This is not a simple assemble. Be careful to keep track of the different types of screws and bolts. Do NOT try to use a drill or electric driver for the screws! The material is solid but not real wood. If you take your time and assemble step-by-step, you won't have a problem.

I had carved out a Saturday afternoon and was done in 3 hours. Lots of clever, little extras such as the headphones hook for those of us who are constantly in video conferences all day. And they include a handy cable organizer that attaches to the bottom which really keeps the cables out of the way as it elevates and then returns to the low position.
